The Warriors (11-9) dug themselves an early hole as the Saints (24-3) swept doubles play. Tech didn't go without a fight though as the No. 1 tandem of
Joaquin Ferrando and
Alberto Tenias, lost 9-7 and the No. 3 pair of
Sriram Aranganathan and
Fernando Sousa dropped their match, 8-6.
It took just two singles victories for Aquinas to move to the championship match and they got those wins from No. 2 and No. 5 singles for the win.
The Warriors finish the year receiving votes in the national poll and had a solid year in from which they can learn and improve.
