CLAYTON, Ind. – The Indiana Tech women's golf team traveled to Deer Creek Golf Club to take part in the NCAA III DePauw Small College Classic on Saturday and are currently sixth after carding a first round 329.

Wiebke Schlender and Courtney Dye are tied for third after shooting a pair of 77's just two strokes off the lead. Bailey Bostley carded an 85 and is tied for 35th while Breanna Post (90) and Rachel George (103) rounded out the top five.

Wittenberg University and Washington University-St. Louis are tied for first after carding first round 323's while Huntindon College is third at 325. Carthage College is currently fourth at 326 with host DePauw (328) rounding out the top five.

The teams return to the links tomorrow for a 9 a.m. start.
