ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The Indiana Tech women's volleyball team extracted revenge on Concordia University from an earlier loss in the season as they defeated the Cardinals in three sets (26-24, 25-22, 25-19) on Wednesday evening.
Tied at 24 all in the first set, the Warriors were able to hang on after three straight Cardinal points had tied it up thanks to a kill from
Cassie Sarabia and a Concordia error. In the second set with the score tied at nine, Tech was able to take six of the next eight points to take control of the set and never relinquish the lead.
After falling behind early in the first two sets, the Warriors were able to start the third set with the lead and pushed it to as much as 18-11 in the final set, as the visitors were took advantage of nine Cardinals errors.
Katelyn St. Martin led the Orange and Black with 23 digs and 10 kills, her sixth double-double of the year.
Cassie Sarabia recorded a game-high 13 kills while picking up eight digs, while
Taylor Kelso added 20 digs as well.
Karli Jones and
Autumn Stokes each had a game-17 assists on the evening.

Tech (13-10, 8-5) now sit in fourth place in the WHAC standings as they head back to Ann Arbor on Saturday for Concordia Crossover. The Warriors play Davenport at 12 p.m. before taking on Aquinas at 3 p.m.
