@INTechWBB Sixth Seed in WHAC Tournament

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference office announced the opening round pairings for the 2015 WHAC women's basketball championship and the Indiana Tech women's basketball team is the championships sixth seed and will travel to the MU Activities Center on Wednesday, Feb. 25 with tip scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

The Warriors will face the third seeded Crusaders of Madonna. The meeting will be the second straight meeting between the two sides as they closed the regular season on Saturday, Feb. 21 in an 88-63 Madonna win. The Warriors also lost the first meeting of the teams Jan. 3 by the count of 84-65.

Admission for the game will be $7 for adults and $5 for students and seniors.

The tournament gets underway on Wednesday with the four winners advancing to Saturday's semi-final round. The highest remaining seed will host the 2015 WHAC Championship on March 2.

The winner of the tournament takes the league's second automatic berth to the 2014 NAIA Division II Women's Basketball Championship in Sioux City, Iowa.
