PRESTONBURG, Ky. – The 14th-ranked Indiana Tech women's golf captured its fifth win of the season and
Wiebke Schlender took home the tournament crown in a thrilling playoff at the Mid-South Conference Spring Tournament held at StoneCrest Golf Course on Tuesday.

The Warriors placed three players on the all-tournament team led by Schlender who took home the crown with a birdie on the first playoff hole, finishing the 36-hole tournament with a 149 (74-75). A final round 80 put
Breanna Post in a tie for third with a 158 (78-80) while
Courtney Dye took fifth with a 159 (77-82) after her final round 82.

Bailey Bostler finished in the top-15, placing 15th with a 165 (84-81) with
Rachel George adding a 182 (92-90) improving by two strokes on day two. Competing as an individual for the Warriors,
Jerika Bland carded a 191 (91-100).

The Warriors bested the No. 7 team in the NAIA, Cumberlands (Ky.) (316-317=633) by two strokes, finishing the event with a 631 (313-318). Campbellsville (Ky.) finished third with a 648 (326-322) with Pikeville (Ky.) (341-336=677) and Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) (334-348=682) rounding out the top five.

The Warriors final regular season competition will be on Monday and Tuesday, Apr. 13-14 at the Bulldog Invitational hosted by Cumberlands (Ky.) at Windtree Golf Course in Mount Juliet, Tenn.
