BRIEF: The 10th-ranked Indiana Tech men's lacrosse team opened the 2015 seasons against Central Collegiate Lacrosse Association Division II Central Division foe, Lawrence Tech on Saturday and got seven goals from freshman
Jace Childs in a 15-13 victory.

FLOW: - Childs opened the game with a pair of tallies; LTU also netted a pair to tie the score after one
- Three assists and a goal from Childs,
Brian Nichter and a pair from
Dan Schaepkens gave the Warriors a 6-5 lead at the half.
- A six goal third period by the Blue Devils was one better than the Warriors five and tied the score at 11 heading into the final quarter
- Tech outscored LTU 4-2 in the final 15 minutes for the win
- Childs scored two more while Nichter and Schaepkens each tallied a goal in the fourth

HIGHLIGHTS:- Childs led all players with 10 points, scoring seven goals with three assists in his debut
- Schaepkens (3 G, 1 A) and Nichter (2 G, 2 A) each finished with four points
- Five other Warriors scored at least one goal or had an assist.
