Mt. Juliet, Tenn. – The 13th-ranked Indiana Tech women's golf team got a career-best 78 from freshman
Bailey Bostler to finish the first round of the Bulldog Invitational just two strokes off the lead with a 307 at Windree Golf Club on Monday.

Wiebke Schlender continued her solid spring, hitting 16 greens in regulation, to post a 73 to sit in second, three shots off the lead.
Courtney Dye joined her in the top-5 after a first round 76, tying for fourth, while Bostler is currently in the top-10, tied for seventh with her 78.
Breanna Post is tied for 13th, two shots back with an 80.

Rachel George carded an 86 for Tech with
Jerika Bland also added a 96 competing as an individual.

Campbellsville (Ky.), who received votes in the most recent NAIA Coaches' Poll, carded a school record 305 for the first round lead, with Tech two strokes back. Another pair of teams receiving votes, Cumberland (Tenn.) (315) and Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) (318) are third and fourth, respectively with Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) (323) rounding out the top five.
