BRIEF: The 19th-ranked Indiana Tech men's lacrosse team traveled to Grove City, Pa. on Saturday for the first round of the Central Collegiate Lacrosse League playoffs, bowing out to Grove City 8-5. After beating up on Taylor, 27-4 last Saturday, the Warriors were shutout in the first period and couldn't recover in the loss.

The Wolverines scored the first four goals of the contest, including a 3-0 first period lead.
William McKinney ended the home team's scoring run with back-to-back goals in the second period to cut the lead in half.
Kyle Dommermuth added another goal for the Warriors, but GCC netted a tally in the final seconds of the first half for a 5-3 lead.

The Wolverines opened the second half the way they closed the first, scoring to push the lead to three, but McKinney found
Brian Nichter for a tally to keep the deficit at two.

The Orange and Black got an unassisted goal from
Dan Schaepkens in the fourth, but the home team scored twice for the final margin.

Kevin Goehring led the team with nine groundballs with
Aidan Jarmus collecting eight…Jarmus also took every face-off, finishing 13-for-17…
Blake Johnson made 12 saves in the contest
