BRIEF: The fourth-ranked Indiana Tech women's lacrosse team used an 11 goal second half to down fifth-ranked Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference foe, Siena Heights, 20-12 at Warrior Athletic Field on Wednesday night. Playing in muddy conditions after several days of rain, Tech performed well, getting nine goals from a pair of freshman, Sam Vikstrom (5) and Kristina Scott (4) while junior Tayler Campbell added four more for the Warriors in the win.

FLOW:
The Warriors scored first on a Vikstrom marker, but a pair of SHU tallies quickly put the Saints ahead, 2-1. Tech answered quickly with five goals in four minutes to take the lead. Several penalties led to a pair of man-up goals for the visitors as well as a pair of man-down tallies for the Warriors to make it 7-5 Tech. The Saints tied the score with a pair of markers but Scott and Aubri Hazen each netted a goal in the final five minutes of the half for a 9-7 advantage.

Vikstrom and Scott opened the second half with a pair of goals to push the lead to four, but SHU answered with two of their own to cut the margin to two, 11-9. Campbell scored three of the next four goals and Vikstrom added another to put the Warriors in front 15-10. Scott and Alexis DiGiovanni each added a pair of goals and Nicole Price scored her first of the season to seal the win.
