ADRIAN, Mich. – The Indiana Tech women's soccer team fell to #17 Siena Heights, 1-0, on Wednesday evening.
The Saints controlled the ball for most of the game, firing off 30 shots in all with eight of them getting on goal. Senior goalie
Alena Payne stopped the first seven of them, but with just under four minutes remaining in regulation, Paige Rachut sent a one-time past Payne for the game-winner.
Megan Perrey and
Jessica Zurcher had the best chances of the night for the Warriors as each had two shots on goal, but were stifled by Saints keeper Meghan Bogg, who recorded her fifth shutout in six starts.
