LIMA, Ohio – The Indiana Tech women's soccer team fell to fourth-ranked University of Northwestern Ohio, 9-0, in Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) action on Wednesday afternoon at Racer Soccer Stadium.
The Racers got on the scoreboard quickly as Klara Cahynnova put the hosts a goal up just seven minutes and 50 seconds into the game. The Warriors would hold off the UNOH attack for a while, but the Racers would add goals in the 31
st and 43
rd minute to go into halftime up 3-0.
The offensive surge for Northwestern Ohio would continue into the second half, as Camilla Anderson recorded a hat trick in the opening nine minutes of the second half as the forth-ranked team in the country would shut out the Warriors.
Jessica Marin recorded the lone shot on goal for Tech.
Tech (2-9-2, 1-4-0 WHAC) continues their road trip this weekend when they face off with Marygrove in Detroit, Michigan. Kickoff is set 12 p.m. from Marygrove Outdoor Athletic Complex.
