FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Tech women's soccer team fell to Lawrence Tech, 1-0, on Wednesday evening at Warrior Athletic Field, in Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) action.
The Blue Devils would score just five minutes into the game as Tia Lamie took the pass from Ally Nyboer and shot it past
Tailer Roscoe for the 1-0 lead.
The Warriors would get off six shots on goal against the Blue Devils, but keeper Heather Derstine would stand tall for LTU's third straight shutout victory.
Jessica Marin led Tech with three shots on goal, while
Jessica Zurcher had two. Roscoe finished the game with two saves.
Tech (2-7-2, 1-2-0 WHAC) returns to action on Friday when they travel to Cornerstone for a 7 p.m. kickoff at CU Soccer Stadium.
