FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The No. 22-ranked Indiana Tech men's ice hockey team fell to No. 4-ranked Davenport, 8-1, in their final home game of the fall semester on Thursday evening at the SportONE/Parkview Icehouse.
Jarrett Pfeiffer put the Warriors up with 13:49 in the first period, but the Panthers would strike back quickly with goals at 8:44 and 8:28 to take a 2-1 lead into the first intermission. Davenport would continue to add to their lead in the second with a pair of power play goals.
The visitors would keep up the pressure in the third with another two goals to chase starting goalie

Zach Larson for two more goals to defeat the Orange and Black in their first game in 12 days.
Ryan Theisen and
Jace Childs were credited with the assists on Pfeiffer's goal while Tooker made 42 saves in the loss.
Tech (11-8-1, 5-2-0 GLCHL) returns to action Saturday when they travel to Grand Rapids, Michigan to conclude their season series with Davenport. Puck drop is set for 3:30 p.m. from the Patterson Ice Center.
