FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Tech men's basketball team closed out its home schedule for the fall semester on a high note as they defeated regional rival Grace, 93-82, on Thursday evening to at the Schafer Center for their third win in a row.
Tanner Watkins and
Miles Robinson each scored a game-high 24 points, with the former going 6-11 from behind the three-point line and the latter grabbing eight assists and dishing out a team-best five assists.
CJ Bussey tied his career-high in points with 18 while going 6-11 from floor.
Lavonte Davis pulled down a season-high 14 rebounds while adding nine points.

Jantzen Goodwin and
Max Huber each chipped in six points apiece while Huber grabbed a career-high 10 rebounds off the bench.
The Lancers would get out to a 13-7 lead in the first four and a half minutes of the game, but the Warriors would use seven straight three pointers, with Huber giving Tech their first lead of the game at the 13:05 mark in the opening half and sparking a 12-0 run to put the Orange and Black up 25-18 with 11:22 to go until the half.
The Warriors would continue their hot shooting from behind the arc, going 9-19 from downtown in the first half to extend their lead to 12 with 2:05 left on the clock as Watkins scored seven consecutive points for the hosts. Grace though, would cut the lead in half over the next 90 seconds, but Robinson would grab his own miss off a free throw to hit a runner in the paint at the buzzer to give Tech a 48-38 led at the half.
Davis would join the scoring party right away in the second half, scoring the Warriors first six points and the Orange and Black would continue to hold a three-possession lead over the visitors over the first 10 minutes of the second.
The Lancers would storm back to cut the deficit to five with 7:51 to go in the game, but Goodwin and Watkins would hit back-to-back triples to push the lead back up to 11. Grace would cut it back down to five with 5:43 remaining on the clock, but Tech responded with a 13-7 spurt to hold an 87-76 lead with 2:50 to go and go 6-8 from the free line over to ice the game away and give the Orange and Black fifth win at the Schaefer Center.
Tech (9-4) returns to Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) action on Saturday as they travel to Ann Arbor, Michigan to take on Concordia. Tipoff is set for 3 p.m. from Concordia Gymnasium.
