Box Score FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Tech men's tennis team concluded its regular season with a 6-3 win over Lawrence Tech on Friday afternoon at Wildwood Racquet Club, concluding a match that was originally scheduled for March 30, but suspended due to rain.
Joaquin Ferrando and
Mikel Oscoz each won in straight sets, 6-4, 6-4, and 7-5, 6-4, respectively, to give the Warriors a 4-3 lead in the match. After a loss at fifth flight,
Rui Lima would clinch the victory for the Orange and Black with a 7-5, 6-4 win at six singles.
Fernando Sousa would split sets but come back to pick up the 7-5, 5-7, 6-4 win at two singles.
Tech (8-7, 4-2 WHAC) now turns their attention to the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Tournament on April 28-30 in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
