It was
Jordan Aylward with back-to-back kills to help push the Orange and Black momentum out to a 6-3 second set lead. A 5-1 run would put the Warriors up by two, 14-12, before the score would knot at 16-16 between the two squads. The remainder of the set stayed a close contest, but it would be the Warriors who would turn a 22-22 tie into a 25-22 decision.
Heading into set three, Lawrence Tech would get out to a quick 9-2 lead before Indiana Tech would push to come within three, 16-13, late. A string of kills lent the Warriors to begin to compose the comeback, but the Blue Devils grabbed the 2-1 match advantage with a 25-22 set score.
Another quick lead for the home team put the Orange and Black down 12-3 in the fourth set. A kill from Helinski helped to push the Warrior momentum forward, but a 6-1 run from Lawrence Tech would aid in closing out the set with a 25-15 final and the Blue Devil 3-1 match victory.
