PONTIAC, Mich. – The Indiana Tech men's soccer team fell to Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) opponent Rochester College, 1-0, Saturday evening from Ultimate Soccer Arena in their regular season finale.
Rochester scored the game's lone goal in the 88
th minute, as Christy Routheaux beat Tech keeper
Chloe Parker for the score. Parker would finished the contest with seven saves in the loss.
The Orange and Black would fire off eight shots in both frames, but Rochester's keeper, Cali Clemens, would stand strong to preserve the shutout while recording eight saves.
Tori Singstock would record five shots, including three shots on goal, while
Shelby Lucas would add four shots of her own.
The Warriors (7-8-2, 4-4-2 WHAC) finished the year as the sixth seed in the WHAC and will begin the WHAC tournament on Wednesday as they match up with the third-seeded Siena Heights in a 7 p.m. contest from O'Laughlin Stadium.
