Warriors Taken Down by Chargers in Road Loss

Box Score HILLSDALE, Mich. – The Indiana Tech men's tennis team fell to NCAA Division III foe Hillsdale, 7-2, on Tuesday afternoon in nonconference action at Mary Jane Delp Courts.

The Chargers would hold a 2-1 lead after doubles action, but a thrilling 9-8 (7-4) set at third flight would go to the tandem of Pablo Bono and Kudzai Toto to give the Warriors their first point of the match.

Alvaro Garrido would come back from a first-set loss to win, 4-6, 6-4, 10-2 at third flight, but that would be the lone point for Tech in singles action as the hosts took the first five matches for the dual win.

Tech (3-2) returns to action on Tuesday, October 10, as they travel to Goshen. First serve is set for 4 p.m. from the GC Tennis Complex.
