LIMA, Ohio – The Indiana Tech men's soccer team concluded their 2017 season with a 3-0 loss to the University of Northwestern Ohio at the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Tournament Saturday afternoon at the Racer Soccer Field.
The Racers scored the contests first goal in the 17
th minute as Luka Pekovic sent one past Tech keeper
Edwin Rosado. A second score for the home team from Pascal Debowiak would put the Racers up 2-0 in the 19
th minute.
The hosts would challenge Rosado with seven total shots in the first half as they went into the half up still ahead 2-0.
Heading into the second half of play, Nelson De La Pava would send in UNOH's third goal of the day in the 80
th minute to close out the scoring for the contest and ending the Warriors season.
The Warriors would finish the contest with six shots, two on goal.
Ruben Leonardo had three shots to finish his night, while Rosado recorded three saves in goal.
The Orange and Black conclude the season with a record of 11-8-0.
