The Phantoms would get out to an 8-2 lead over the Warriors in the first two minutes of the ball game, but the Orange and Black would respond with an 18-8 run over the next five minutes to take a 20-16 lead at the 13 minute mark of the first half. A three-pointer from Morken would spark an 18-2 run for the hosts at the 10:17 mark as they grew their lead to 21 with 6:15 left in the first half.

The visitors would be unable to cut the deficit to under 20 before the half as the Warriors took a 56-34 lead into the locker room at the break, shooting 70% from the field as a team and hitting 6-7 shots from behind the three-point line.

The good shooting for the Warriors would continue into the second half as they extended their lead to 35 points with 13:25 left on the clock. East-West would try to get back in the game with small runs, but Tech would use a 17-3 run to make it a 95-51 game with 7:44 left in the contest as they cruised to the 118-72 win.
