FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Tech men's tennis team was defeated by No. 4-ranked University of Northwestern Ohio, 9-0, on Wednesday afternoon at Kreager Park in their Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) finale.
The Warriors would put up fights at all three doubles matches, but come up short and trail 3-0 heading into singles play.
Nicholas Aguirre and
Kino de Leon would fall 8-5 at second flight while Lucas Barga and
German Alejandro Ortiz fell, 8-4, at the third position.
Aguirre would fall at first flight, 6-3, 7-5, while
Mikel Oscoz dropped a, 6-1, 6-1, decision at second flight.
Tech (7-8, 1-5 WHAC) returns to action Tuesday, April 18 as they start at four-match nonconference slate with regional rival Grace. Opening serve is set for 3:30 p.m. at Swinney Park.
