FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The No. 6-seeded Indiana Tech men's tennis team fell to No. 3-seeded and No. 24-ranked Lawrence Tech in the first round of the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Tournament on Friday morning at St. Rita's Sports Complex.
Results of individual matches were not immediately available.
Mikel Oscoz and
Fernando Sousa picked up the Warriors lone win at one doubles, winning 9-8, while Sousa would emerge victorious at two singles with a 6-2, 6-2 triumph, but the Blue Devils would clinch the win and end Tech's season with three wins in singles action.
Tech finishes the season with a record of 8-11 and a 1-5 mark in Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) play.
