FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Tech men's tennis team fell to No. 17-ranked Aquinas, 7-2, on Saturday afternoon at Concordia Lutheran High School in Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) action.
Trailing 3-0 after doubles action, the Warriors would get wins from
Nicholas Aguirre and
Rui Lima at two and six singles, respectively, with the former winning in straight sets, 6-4, 6-4, and the latter splitting sets before pulling out a gritty 4-6, 6-1, 10-5 win.
Tech (6-7, 0-4 WHAC) returns to action Monday as they travel to Ann Arbor, Michigan for a battle with Concordia. Opening serve is set for 11 a.m. from Chippewa Club.
