Box Score FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Tech men's tennis team fell to regional rival Indiana Wesleyan, 5-1, on Saturday morning in their home opener at Kreager Park.
The Wildcats would take a commanding 3-0 lead after doubles action with all three flights defeating the Warriors by 8-2 scores.
Rui Lima would pick up the lone win for Tech with a 6-3, 6-0 win at third flight over Gavin White, but the visitors would clinch the match as Eli Steiner defeated
Tiago Neves at first flight, 6-2, 6-0.
Tech (1-1) returns to action Sunday as they make the short trip north on I-69 for a match with Trine. First serve is set for 11 a.m. from the Ryan Tennis Center.
