FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Tech men's tennis team defeated Olivet College, 9-0, on Sunday afternoon in a nonconference match at Wildwood Racquet Club.
The Warriors were dominant from first serve until final point as they surrendered just seven games to the Comets over nine matches.
Rui Lima,
Brunno Storani,
Alvaro Garrido and
Lucas Braga all picked up 6-0, 6-0 double bagel victories at second, third, fourth and sixth flight, respectively, while the first doubles flight of
Tiago Neves and
Alvaro Gomez and the second team of Lima and Garrido both won their respective matches, 8-1.
Tech (3-9) returns to action Tuesday as they host Holy Cross (Ind.) in a 4:30 p.m. match from the Swinney Tennis Center.
