ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The No. 3-ranked Indiana Tech men's lacrosse team claimed their 11th straight victory with a 14-4 decision over Concordia (Mich.) University at Cardinal Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The Warriors controlled the contest from the opening whistle and never trailed in the conference affair. It would take just over two minutes before senior
Jace Childs found the scoring column in the first period to take a 1-0 advantage, which he then doubled eight minutes later. Indiana Tech's high-powered offense would go on to post five more goals in the second frame courtesy of five different scorers. Defensively, the visitors pitched a first half shutout against the Cardinal offense to take the lead 7-0 headed into the locker rooms.
When play resumed in Ann Arbor, it was more of the same for the Warrior offense. Freshman
Brayden Givens netted two goals just eight seconds apart in the third period, the first of the pair being scored during a man-up advantage. Childs would add one more to his teammate's scores with over four minutes to go. Meanwhile, the Cardinals' offense finally broke through in the third period, scoring all four of their goals during the 15-minute span.
Heading into the final period, the Warriors held a comfortable 10-4 edge. They would hold their opponents scoreless once again during the frame while

Mitch Wilkins, Childs, and
Chandler Peterson compiled the remaining four goals for Tech in the triumph.
Childs would lead the Warriors in goals (5), shots (16), caused turnovers (3), and would tie teammate
Noah Puckett's point total (6). Puckett registered a team-best five assists while McKinney picked up six ground balls to lead the squad. Freshman goalkeeper
Evan Schuster recorded six saves in net to secure the win.
Indiana Tech (11-0, 5-0 WHAC) will return to action next Wednesday, April 18 when they welcome conference foe and No. 2-ranked Madonna University to Warrior Athletic Field. The top-five matchup will serve as Senior Night for the men's lacrosse program. The game is scheduled to get underway at 7 p.m. in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
