GAMBIER, Ohio – The Indiana Tech men's tennis team recorded their second shutout in a week with a 9-0 victory over Mount Vernon Nazarene University on Tuesday afternoon at the Jasper Tennis Center.
The Warriors dominated the Cougars from the as they surrendered just three points in doubles play, with each duo winning by a score of 8-1.
Brunno Storani and
Lucas Braga clinched the win for the Orange and Black as they won the fourth and fifth matches of the day with 6-1, 6-2 and 6-1, 6-0 wins at first and fifth flight, respectively.
Alvaro Garrido,
Rui Lima and
Pablo Bono all recorded 6-0, 6-0 double bagels while
Alvaro Gomez won 6-1, 6-0.
Tech (6-11) returns to action Thursday as they travel to Lima, Ohio for a battle with the University of Northwestern Ohio. First serve is set for 11 a.m. from Racer Tennis Courts.
