GAMBIER, Ohio – The Indiana Tech women's tennis team snapped a six-game losing streak on Tuesday afternoon as they defeated Mount Vernon Nazarene, 5-2, at the Jasper Tennis Courts.
The Warriors took a 2-0 lead after doubles play as the first flight of
Maria Jimenez and
Lydia Miller won 8-4 while
Hannah Dodd and
Joselyne Bobos won 8-6 at second flight. Jimenez notched another double bagel with the dominating 6-0, 6-0 win at first flight while
Kerigan Riley won 6-3, 6-0 at third flight. Bobos clinched the win for the Orange and Black with a 8-4 win at fifth flight.
Tech (3-13) returns to action on Thursday as they take on the University of Northwestern Ohio. First serve is set for 11 a.m. from Racer Tennis Courts.
