LIMA, Ohio – The Indiana Tech women's tennis team was defeated by No. 14-ranked University of Northwestern Ohio, 9-0, on Thursday afternoon at Westwood Tennis and Fitness Center.
 
The Racers took a commanding 3-0 lead after doubles play as they allowed just two combined points between the two matches contested before sweeping through singles play to down the Warriors. Maria Jimenez fell at first flight, 7-6, 6-3.
 
Tech (3-14, 0-4 WHAC) returns to action Monday, April 23 as they travel to Bethel College for their final nonconference match of the season. First serve is set for 2:30 p.m. from Knollwood Country Club.
