The product of  L'Anse Creuse High School – North helped the Jets to the 2016-17 East Division regular season and playoff championships while being a finalist for the  Silver Cup with a USAH record of 47-0. The son of Mary Young, he plans to major in Business – Marketing at Indiana Tech.

"I chose Indiana Tech because it's a great environment and opportunity for my education and hockey career," Alafriz said. "Academically, Indiana Tech has a great business program with job opportunities upon graduating. With Indiana Tech being such a small campus, the student-teacher ratio is great for individual attention. Athletically, winning is an expectation at Indiana Tech and that's what I want to be a part of. Coming from a first class organization like the Metro Jets where winning is part of our culture, I'm excited to make the transition from junior hockey to college hockey. I want to grow and develop as a hockey player and help the team win a national championship."

A 5'11", 165-lbs. forward from Plzen, Czech Republic, Krasny comes to the Summit City after playing for the Minnesota Moose of the USPHL Premier. In 44 regular season games he recorded 24 goals, 23 assists and 47 points while tacking on five goals, four assists and nine points in eight playoff games playing for Jon Jonasson and Blake Mendenhall. The son of
Klara and Tomas Krasny, he plans to major in Business Administration - Sports Management at Tech.

"I like the school and it also has a really good College of Business," Krasny said. "I like the hockey program and the coaching staff is great. And I also have couple buddies already playing on the hockey team. I want to come in and be an impact player right away and be the most helpful I can be to my teammates and coaches off and on the ice. I want to help the team win a national championship."
