MARION, Ind. – The Indiana Tech women's tennis team fell to Indiana Wesleyan, 9-0, Wednesday evening in the opening match of their 2018-19 season at Sutter Tennis Center.
 
Vero Jimenez put up a valiant fight at first flight before falling 7-6, 6-4 while she teamed up with Martina Borges at the number one doubles pair, falling 8-4.
 
Tech (0-1) returns to action on Tuesday, September 4 as they travel to Grace College. Opening serve is set for 4 p.m. from the Miller Field Tennis Courts.
