FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Tech men's tennis team defeated the University of Saint Francis, 9-0, Thursday afternoon in nonconference action at Swinney Tennis Center.
Tech got off to a hot start in doubles action and continued that into singles play as they gave up just 10 points in the latter.
Alvaro Garrido notched a double bagel at third flight while
Tiago Neves and
Lucas Braga won 6-0, 6-2 and 6-2, 6-0, respectively, at second and sixth flight.
Tech (2-2) returns to action September 29 as they travel to Taylor University for their final road match of the fall. First serve is set for 2 p.m. from the Meier Tennis Courts.
