UPLAND, Ind. – The Indiana Tech women's tennis team fell to Taylor University, 7-2, Saturday afternoon at the Meier Tennis Courts.
Vero Jimenez and
Martina Borges gave the Warriors their first point of the match as the first flight won 8-6 in doubles action. Borges would give Tech their second win of the night with a 6-0, 6-2 victory at second flight in singles play, but it was not enough as the Trojans took the rest of the matches to win 7-2.
Tech (1-3) returns to action Saturday, October 6 as they travel to NCAA Division II opponent Ashland University. First serve is set for 3 p.m. from the Karl Tennis Complex.
