PERRYSBURG, Ohio – The Indiana Tech women's tennis team dropped its spring opener to NCAA Division I foe Bowling Green State University, 7-0, on Saturday afternoon at the Perrysburg Tennis Center.
The Falcons took the early lead after doubles action with wins at first and second flight before sweeping before singles action to complete the shutout.
Vero Jimenez dropped a 6-1, 6-4 decision at first flight while
Elena Tokic fell 6-3, 6-0 at fourth flight.
Tech (1-4) returns to action on Saturday, February 9 as they travel to Lakewood, Ohio to take on NCAA Division II foe Tiffin University. First serve is set for 1 p.m. from Lakewood Racquet Club.
