ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The No. 25-ranked Indiana Tech men's basketball team defeated Concordia University (Mich.), 68-65, on Wednesday evening in Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) play at the Concordia Field House.

Logan Primerano added 17 points and two rebounds.
Josh Kline chipped in seven points and six rebounds off the bench while
Lucas Lehrman and

Tech got out to a 5-0 run to open the game, but the Cardinals responded with a 12-2 run to go up 12-7 with 16:18 to play in the first half. Concordia extended their lead to as many as seven points as they held a 17-10 advantage with 14:34 to go in the half. The Warriors countered with a 9-1 run along with a 6:49 scoring drought from the hosts to go up 19-17 at the 10:01 mark. The Tech offense would then go quiet for the next 2:34 though, before a three-pointer from Phair, snapped the drought with 7:27 to play in the half. The two sides traded baskets for the remainder of the period, with the visitors only able to extend their advantage to four points, before a three at the buzzer from Concordia's Mychael Bradley, made it a 39-38 game at the break in favor of the hosts.
An 8-1 run from the Cardinals would open the second half and give Concordia their largest lead of the game at 15:38 mark at 47-40. Phair snapped another scoring drought, this one lasting 5:34, with another triple at the 14:16 mark, to start an 11-2 run for the Warriors as they went back ahead at 51-49 with 8:57 left on the clock. The game would be a back-and-forth affair over the remaining eight minutes of the contest.
Tech held a 64-62 lead with 28 seconds to go and extended their advantage to 66-62 on their next possession with a pair of free throws from Primerano, but a triple from Bradley made it a one-point game with 11 seconds left on the clock. Following a sequence that had the Warriors turning the ball over twice and the Cardinals losing possession as well without any points being scored, Phair would sink a pair of three throws to make it a 68-65 game with four seconds to play while a triple from Bradley would bounce off the win to give the Warriors the win.
Tech (13-9, 9-3 WHAC) returns to action on Saturday as they host Lawrence Tech. Tip-off is set for 1 p.m. (moved up due to the forecasted snow) from the Schaefer Center.
