FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Tech women's volleyball team kicked off Homecoming Weekend with a dominant sweep of Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) foe Rochester University (25-11, 25-14, 25-13) Friday evening inside the Schaefer Center.
With the win, head coach
Kourtney Wilson notched her 150
th career win in her eighth season at the helm while senior setter
Madison Park passed the 1,000 career assist plateau in just her 194
th match in a Warrior uniform.
Olivia Niekamp had a match-high 11 kills while hitting .450 and recording five blocks, while
Havilyn Cummings added nine kills on a .615 hitting clip with four blocks. Park dished out 18 assists while
Genna Karbowski had 17.
Madeline MacDonald added 17 digs to round out Tech's leaders.
Tech (14-5, 6-3 WHAC) returns to action on Saturday as host conference leader Lawrence Technological University. First serve is set for 3 p.m. from the Schaefer Center.
