GRANDVILLE, Mich. – The Indiana Tech men's tennis team fell to NCAA Division II foe Grand Valley State University, 6-1, on Saturday evening at the Premier Athletic and Tennis Center.
The Lakers got out to a 1-0 lead after sweeping through doubles action before winning four of the six singles matches in straight sets to secure the win.
Andres Leal picked up the lone win for Tech at third flight with a 7-6 (4), 3-6, 6-2, victory while
Alvaro Garrido fell in three sets and fourth flight, 6-2, 1-6, 2-10.
Tech (3-5) returns to action on Wednesday, February 20 as they travel to Zionsville, Indiana to take on Indiana University East. First serve is set for 12 p.m. from the Pearson Automotive Tennis Club.
