GRANDVILLE, Mich. – The Indiana Tech women's tennis team fell to NCAA Division II No. 24-ranked Grand Valley State University, 7-0, on Saturday evening inside the Premier Athletic and Tennis Club.
 
Vero Jimenez put up a strong fight at first flight before falling, 6-3, 6-3, while Martina Borges fell by the same score at second flight. Dominique Michelet nearly split sets but fell 6-1, 7-5 at third flight.
 
Tech (1-5) returns to action on Monday as they head to NCAA Division III foe Defiance College. First serve is set for 4:30 p.m. from the George M. Smart Athletic Center.
