DEFIANCE, Ohio – The Indiana Tech women's tennis team defeated NCAA Division III foe Defiance College, 6-3, on Monday evening inside the George M. Smart Athletic Center.
 
The Warriors got all six over the victories from four players, with the one doubles team of Martina Borges and Dominque Michelet winning 8-2 while the second flight of Vero Jimenez and Elena Tokic earning the 8-0 win.
 
Tokic notched the double bagel at fourth flight in singles action while Jimenez won 6-0, 6-1 at the number one position. Borges and Michelet each won 6-1, 6-1 at second and third flight, respectively.
 
Tech (2-5) returns to action on Wednesday as they take on Indiana University East in Zionsville, Indiana. First serve is set for 12 p.m. from the Pearson Automotive Tennis Center.
