ATCHISON, Kan. – The No. 4-ranked Indiana Tech men's lacrosse team won its second game in as many days as they defeated Benedictine College in overtime, 8-7, on Sunday afternoon inside the BC Soccer Complex and John Casey Soccer Center.
The Ravens got out to a 3-0 lead over the Warriors early in the second quarter, but Tech stormed back with three goals in a seven-minute stretch to tie the game up at 3-3 at the half. Benedictine took a 6-4 lead into the fourth quarter after scoring twice in the final 2 minutes of the period.

Ian Tyburski gave the Warriors their first lead of the game with 60 seconds left on the clock, but the Ravens knotted the game up at seven just five seconds later to send the game into overtime. Tybruski would put the Orange and Black up for good though as he scored the game-winner with 2:42 left in the extra session to give Tech the 8-7 win.
Noah Puckett had a game-high four points (2 goals and 2 assists) while Peterson also had two goals.
Evan Schuster made 15 saves for his second win of the season.
Tech (2-0) continues their season opening road trip next weekend as they head to Williamsburg, Kentucky to face off with a pair of top-ranked foes in No. 1-ranked and two-time defending national champion Reinhardt University and No. 3-ranked University of the Cumberlands. Faceoff with Reinhardt is set for 1 p.m. EST on Saturday, March 2 from the James H. Taylor II Stadium.
