SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – The Indiana Tech women's tennis team fell to Lawrence Tech, 7-3 on Wednesday afternoon in Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) action inside the Franklin Athletic Club.
 
The Blue Devils raced out to a 3-0 lead after doubles play, while Tech only had three athletes competing at the match. Vero Jimenez and Martina Borges picked up the Warrior wins at first and second flight, winning 6-0, 6-1 and 6-4, 6-1, respectively.
 
Tech (2-8, 0-2 WHAC) returns to action on March 16 as they continue WHAC action against Cornerstone University. First serve is set for 4:30 p.m. from the Grand Rapids Racquet Club.
