FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Tech men's tennis team defeated NCAA Division III and regional rival Anderson University, 8-1, on Friday afternoon at Swinney Tennis Center.
The Warriors dropped just four points in doubles action with the first flight of
Rui Lima and
Alvaro Garrido won 8-1 while the third flight of
Kudzai Toto and
Lucas Braga won 8-0 at third flight.
Tiago Neves won 6-1, 6-0 at first flight in singles action while Brunno Stornai won 6-2, 6-0 at second flight.
Pablo Bono and
Alejandro Ortiz both notched double bagels at fourth and sixth flight.
Tech (11-10) returns to action on Monday, April 15 as they conclude the regular season at Goshen College. First serve is set for 4:30 p.m. from the Goshen Tennis Complex.
