Warriors Run Win Streak to 10 With Rout of Cardinals

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The No. 4-ranked Indiana Tech women's lacrosse team rank its winning streak to 10 games on Wednesday evening as they defeated Concordia University (Mich.), 21-11, at Cardinal Stadium.
 
Tech came out of the gates firing as they scored six times, including three on the woman-advantage, in the first 11 minutes of the game. The Cardinals fought back to score eight times in the final 18 minutes of the half to make it an 11-8 game at the half.
 
The Warriors put the pressure back on the hosts to start the second as they scored four times in the first nine minutes of the period to extend their lead to 15-8. Concordia stopped the run at the 16:06 mark, but the Orange and Black answered back with four more goals to start the running clock with 6:14 left in the game.
 
Jennifer Banks finished with a career-high eight goals, tying the program record set by former standout Sam Vikstrom, and tacked on three assists. McKenna Mesclier added four goals while Abbey Wilson had six ground balls. Bailey Childs won eight draws while Sydney Davis made nine saves in the cage.
 
Tech (11-2, 8-0 WHAC) concludes the regular season on Saturday as they travel to Lourdes University. Opening draw is set for 11 a.m. from Wildcat Stadium.
