GRANGER, Ind. – The Indiana Tech men's tennis team defeated regional rival Bethel College, 9-0, on Tuesday afternoon at the Knollwood Country Club.
Tech rolled through doubles play by dropping just seven points over the three matches, with the first flight of
Brunno Storani winning 8-2 and the third flight of
Pablo Bono and
Lucas Braga winning 8-1.
Bono dropped just one set in a win at fourth flight in singles play while Braga and
Kudzai Toto each posted double bagels at fifth and sixth flight, respectively. Garrido won his first set 6-5 before posting a shutout in the second.
Tech (9-10) returns to action on Tuesday, April 9 as they travel to Ypsilanti, Michigan for a battle with Concordia University (Mich.). First serve is set for 12 p.m. from the Chippewa Club.
