GRANGER, Ind. – The Indiana Tech women's tennis team fell to regional rival Bethel College, 5-4, on Tuesday afternoon at the Knollwood Country Club.
Vero Jimenez and
Elena Tokic picked up Tech's lone win in doubles action with an 8-4 victory at second flight while the former dropped just one set in a victory at first flight in singles action.
Martina Borges won 6-4, 6-7 (4), 10-7 at second flight while Dominque Michelet won 6-3, 6-2 at third flight, but it would not enough as the Warriors fell in the tight matchup.
Tech (2-11) returns to action on Tuesday, April 9 as they travel to Ypsilanti, Michigan for a battle with Concordia University (Mich.). First serve is set for 12 p.m. from the Chippewa Club.
