FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Tech women's wrestling team has signed 23 student-athletes for its 2020 recruiting class, head coach
Paul Rademacher announced. According to The Open Mat Women's Collegiate Recruiting Rankings, Coach Rademacher's 2020 recruiting class is ranked eleventh in the country. This class includes four ranked wrestlers, two of which are Hoosier state natives, and two Tricia Saunders Award Winners. In total, the 2020 class will have eleven states represented with seven student-athletes from Indiana, three from California, two from Michigan and Nevada, and one from Georgia, Wyoming, Arizona, Missouri, Massachusetts and Tennessee.

Charmayne DeLong
DeLong is from Weston, Wyoming where she wrestled at Moorcroft High School. She is currently ranked fifteenth and has wrestled for the Wyoming National Women's Wrestling Team and the Moorcroft Mat Masters. DeLong is a three-time State Qualifier, three-time National Champion and four-time All-American. DeLong also was a Tricia Saunders Award Winner this past year. She is intending to major in Exercise Science.
Ellyana Kuzma
Kuzma comes to Indiana Tech after a successful career at Oscar A. Carlson High School in Gibralter, Michigan. She was a 2019 Girl's State Champion along with a Team Captain for the 2018-19 and 2019-20 seasons. Kuzma was an active member in the National Honor Society her last two years of high school and is planning to major in Biomedical Engineering at Indiana Tech.
Anna Baider
Baider enters Indiana Tech after wrestling at Oak Ridge High School in Eldorado Hills, California. She has wrestled for the El Dorado Wrestling Club and was a CIF State Qualifier. Baider intends to major in Psychology.
Perla Ramirez
Ramirez is coming to Indiana Tech from Escondido, California where she wrestled at Escondido High School. She was a State Qualifier in 2019 along with Queen of the Mat. Ramirez is also a two-time CIF Finalist and won the Outstanding Up Weight Award at her school. She is planning to major in Criminal Justice.
Sydney Lewis
Lewis comes to Indiana Tech after a great career at Algonac High School in Algonac, Michigan. She is a two-time Michigan State placer, where she took fourth this past year. Lewis is planning to major in Digital Graphics and Design.
Korigan Wilkey
Wilkey is from Elwood, Indiana where she wrestled at Elwood High School. She was a two-time Indiana State placer and earned the John Green Award in 2017. She also earned the Wilkey Award in 2020. Wilkey intends to major in Child Development.
Destiny Shelton
Shelton comes to Indiana Tech from Tullahoma, Tennessee where she wrestled at Tullahoma High School. She is a two-time TSSAA State Placer and has competed multiple times on the Tennessee National Team. She is an Ironman Champion and has earned many awards throughout her career. Shelton plans to major in Criminal Justice and Forensic Science.
Michaela Horstmeyer
Hortsmeyer has chosen to stay in Fort Wayne after her high school career at North Side. She intends to major in Criminal Justice.
Desiree King
King is coming to Indiana Tech from Anderson High School in Anderson, Indiana. She is a two-time Indiana Girl's State morning placer. King competed on varsity wrestling for three years along with competing for the track and field team in high school. She is planning to major in Criminal Tech.
Lily Kirk
Kirk enters Indiana Tech from De Soto High School in Valles Mines, Missouri. She intends to major in Forensic Science.
Morgan Ayers
Ayers comes to Indiana Tech after a successful career at Highwood High School in Highwood, Montana. She is a three-time Girl's AAU State Champion and a three-time Boy's State Qualifier. Ayer finished sixth at the Boy's State Tournament her junior year. She also has represented Team Montana for multiple events throughout her career. Ayers is planning on majoring in Business with a concentration in Marketing.
Riley Horvath
Hovarth enters Indiana Tech from Jimtown High School in Elkhart, Indiana. She is a two-time Girl's State placer, a Boy's Regional qualifier and a two-time First-Team Academic All-State Team recipient. In her junior year of wrestling, she earned the Best Attitude Award and the Kiwanis Award. Hovarth was also an outstanding rugby player in high school. She was an active member in the National Honor Society and intends on majoring in Communications.
Catherine McNulty
McNulty is a Haverhill, Massachusetts native and wrestled at Whittier Regional Vocational Technical High School. While wrestling for her high school, she also wrestled for Smitty's Wrestling Barn in 2015, Doughboy Wrestling in 2017 and Wildcat Wrestling Club in 2015. She is a three-time MIAA Girls State Champion, was named Outstanding Wrestler at the New England Freestyle and Greco Roman Open in 2017 and was a Runner-Up at the 2018 New England Freestyle Open. She has competed with the Massachusetts National Team multiple time and was named the 2020 MIAA Outstanding Wrestler. McNulty earned the Boston Herald All-Scholastic Award in 2019. She is planning to major is Biomedical Engineering. Â Â
Tehani Soares
Soares comes to Indiana Tech from Shadow Ridge High School in Las Vegas, Nevada. She is currently ranked seventh and was recently awarded the Tricia Saunders Award. She is a multiple time state placer in Nevada and has placed at US Cadet and Junior Nationals in Fargo multiple times. Soares is a six-time All-American along with having earned Outstanding Wrestler at Western States, Sierra Nevada Classic and Athena Nationals. She is planning to major in Sports Medicine.
Glenda Veiga
Veiga is coming from Acworth, Georgia where she wrestled at North Paulding High School. She is a two-time Georgia State placer and finished third at the Preseason Nationals this past fall. Veiga plans to major in Health Sciences.
Samantha Snow
Snow enters Indiana Tech after a successful career at Los Alamitos High School in Long Beach, California. She is a three-time California State participant and placed sixth this past year. She has represented Team California and her club team, Team SOMAR, in many national events. She is a two-time LAHS Coach's Award winner along with earning the LAHS MVP Award in 2019 and was named to the Sunset League All-Academic Team in 2018, 2019 and 2020. Snow is planning to major in Criminal Justice and Psychology.
Jaden Johnson
Johnson has decided to stay in Indiana after a career at Penn High School in Mishawaka, Indiana. She is ranked nineteenth in the country and is Indiana's first four-time Girl's State Champion. Johnson plans to major in Business with a concentration in Sports Management.
Autumn Terhune
Terhune comes to Indiana Tech from Warren Central High School in Indianapolis, Indiana. She is an Indiana Girl's State Champion this past year and has placed three times at the Girl's State Championship. Terhune has been a part of the Indiana National Team and is currently ranked twelfth in the country. She intends to major in Health Sciences.
Alexandra Mireles
Mireles is coming to Fort Wayne from Las Vegas, Nevada where she competed at SLAM Academy. She took second place at Girls State for the 2016-17 season and the 2019-20 season. Mireles earned second place at Nevada State in 2017 and 2018 while also participating in swimming. She was awarded the Student "SLAMMIE" Award for Wrestling along with Scholar-Athlete. She is a four-time Most Inspirational and Motivating Award winner and earned the Coach's Award for wrestling in 2018. Mireles was an active member of the National Honor Society and was Student Council Vice President for the 2018-19 school year. She is planning to major in Forensic Science.
Alyssa Schuller
Schuller is staying in Indiana after competing at Woodlan High School in Elkhart, Indiana. She competed for her high school team and for the Beast Mode Wrestling Academy. Schuller was the 2017 IHSGWA State Runner-Up. She has yet to decide what she will be majoring during her time at Indiana Tech.
Tyllie Menis
Menis comes from Buffalo Grove High School in Arlington Heights, Illinois. She made history at Buffalo Grove when she was the first female to win varsity matches. Menis is a two-time State Qualifier and is planning to major in Psychology.
Jasmine Emerson
Emerson is coming to Indiana Tech all the way from Tombstone, Arizona. She was a 2020 State Runner-Up and is planning to major in Fitness and Recreation.
Annalyse Dooley
Dooley enters Fort Wayne after a decorated career at West Vigo High School is West Terre Haute, Indiana. She was a third-place finisher at the Indiana State Tournament in both 2017 and 2020 and was a runner-up at the Indiana State Tournament in both 2018 and 2019. Dooley is undecided on her major.Â
