ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The Indiana Tech women's soccer team fell to Concordia University, 2-1, Wednesday afternoon at Cardinal Stadium.
The two sides played an even first half with 17 combined shots, but only five of them coming on frame and none making it past either goalkeeper. The Cardinals got off to a hot start in the second half though, scoring twice in a three-minute stretch before the 60
th minute to go up 2-0.

Kendall Scribner on a free kick in the 65
th minute to make it a 2-1 game as Scribner put it in over the head of Hayley Jacobson, who had just come in for Anna Roman two minutes earlier. The Warriors kept up the offensive pressure, launching four more shots on goal in the final 20 minutes of the match, but couldn't get another ball past Jacobson as the Cardinals held on for the conference win.
Michaela Bitle made three saves in the loss while
Danielle Dunn,
Lily Rothert and
Bailey Elliott all had two shots on goal.
Tech (7-8-0, 3-5-0 WHAC) returns to action Saturday as they host Rochester University in their final home game of the regular season. Kickoff is set for 3 p.m. from Warrior Athletic Field.
