FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The Indiana Tech women's soccer team had no problems against their conference foe, Rochester, as they defeated them by a final score of 5-1.
Both offenses struggled to put the ball in the back of the net during the first 45 minutes, but
Kendall Scribner quickly ended the drought in the second half, scoring off of the assist from
Kate Wallace in the 46th minute. Just four minutes later, it was
Lily Rothert who scored two goals in just over a minute. In the 76th minute it was Rothert again, putting in the hat-trick goal, unassisted, before Bailey Elliot would score shortly after to put the home team ahead, 5-1, and that's how the score would stay.Â
The Warriors would out-shoot Rochester, 23-7 and will look to end the regular season on a positive note as they travel to Lawrence Tech (5-7-3, 2-4-2) to take on the Blue Devils this Saturday at 4 p.m.
