FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Tech women's volleyball team continued its torrid pace with its sixth straight sweep Wednesday evening as they defeated Siena Heights University 3-0 (25-22, 25-11, 25-23) inside the Schaefer Center to extend its winning streak to seven games.
Emma Westra led the way with a match-high 14 kills, a .355 hitting percentage and seven digs.

Madelyn Omo and
Taylor Paul each recorded 10 kills with Omo hitting .588 and VanOort notching nine digs.
Andrea Schriver had 35 assists and 14 digs while
Katrina Reynolds had 12 digs.
The Warriors battled back from a 6-4 deficit with a 7-0 run to go ahead 11-6 in the first set, but the Saints, playing their first match since September 25, didn't go away easily as they battled back to make it a 16-14 game. SHU cut the deficit down to a single point at 18-17 and 23-22, but kills from Schriver and VanOort put the hosts up ahead in the match after the opening set.
Tech controlled all the momentum in the second as they raced out to an 8-2 lead and never looked back. The lead blossomed up to 10 points, first at 15-5 before growing to 23-10 and giving the Orange and Black a 2-0 lead in the match.
The Saints found their grove in the third as they got out to a 12-7 lead as a 7-1 run pushed them ahead. The visitors appeared poised to get back into the match as they led 20-15, but the Warriors kept chipping away at the lead. Down 22-19, Tech dug deep and went on a 6-1 run to complete the sweep.
Tech (13-8, 9-1 WHAC) returns to action Friday with the start of the Liz Lykowski Memorial Tournament as they take on Huntington University and Judson University at 2 and 6 p.m. inside the Schaefer Center.
