Warriors Make History: Earning Three-Peat as Double WHAC Champions

Box Score FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The Indiana Tech men's soccer team won their third consecutive WHAC Tournament Championship on Saturday afternoon with a 3-0 defeat of the UNOH Racers.

How Did It Happen?
  • Maxwell Amoako connects on a bicycle kick off of a cross from Jack Koshko, his 18th goal of the season, making it 1-0.
  • Fort Wayne native Jaxon Simerman finds the back of the net off of a touch pass from Amoako, making it 2-0 heading into halftime.
  • Luke Jones sealed the deal in the 86th minute with a header off the cross from Ryan Steele.
Amoako tied teammate Noe Garcia for second all-time in program history for goals in a season, sitting behind Billy Kripps' 25 goal season in 2000.

Indiana Tech becomes the first program to win both the WHAC Regular Season and Tournament Championships in three consecutive seasons.

Tech (16-1-3, 8-0-2 WHAC) returns to action on Thursday for the NAIA National Championship Opening Round against the Warner Pacific Knights (16-3-2). Kick-off is set for 1:00 PM this Thursday at Warrior Athletic Field.
